Job summary

QA is seeking an AI Developer & Automation Apprentice to join its AI implementation programme in the UK. You will work across AI development, automation, business analysis and change management on real projects with meaningful business impact.

You will collaborate with developers, specialists and stakeholders to design, build, test and implement AI-powered solutions and help colleagues adopt new technology. Training and hands-on experience are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent work experience (typically 2 years)
• GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
• Interest in AI, software development and emerging technologies
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to learn and develop programming skills in Python, JavaScript, C#, TypeScript or SQL

Responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering and process mapping for AI and automation.
• Assist with design and development of AI applications, agents, workflows and automation solutions.
• Build and refine solutions using AI development tools, coding assistants and automation platforms.
• Test AI solutions for accuracy, reliability, and security.
• Help deploy, document and roll out new AI-powered solutions.
• Create user guides and training materials and support adoption of new technology.
• Gather user feedback and suggest improvements.
