Job summary

XMA is seeking an AI & Automation Apprentice to support the design, development, testing and maintenance of intelligent automation solutions, robotic process automations and AI-enabled workflows. Responsibilities include analysing processes for automation, building RPA bots, documenting requirements, and contributing to governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with business users and colleagues to learn and apply best practices, with the aim of delivering

Qualifications

Level 3 Qualification or equivalent (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BTEC).
GCSEs including English & Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
Two years of relevant work experience may count toward eligibility.

Responsibilities

Assist in analysing business processes to identify opportunities for automation, AI support or workflow improvement.
Support the design, build, testing and deployment of RPA bots using approved automation platforms.
Help develop AI-enabled solutions such as intelligent workflows, document processing, chatbots or decision-support tools.
Translate business requirements into process maps, user stories and solution documentation.
Maintain and update existing bots, workflows and automation scripts under supervision.
Monitor bot performance and investigate exceptions to support resolution.
Carry out testing, validation and quality checks for reliability and accuracy.
Engage with business users to gather feedback and identify improvements.
