Job summary

The Citation Group is seeking an AI Architect to own AI architecture across the data/AI stack, reporting directly to the Chief AI Officer. You will define patterns, standards, and architecture decisions that guide delivery teams.

Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Security, and Compliance, you will govern model selection, data readiness, cost, and risk, escalating while remaining architecture lead across the business.

Qualifications

• Senior level with 6+ years in software, data, or platform engineering/architecture.
• Hands-on experience with production AI systems, not just pilots.

Responsibilities

• Define AI architectural patterns and standards for retrieval, grounding, and agent orchestration.
• Own AI-specific design decisions and document in architecture decision records.
