Job summary

JMW Solicitors LLP seeks an experienced AI Technology Learning and Adoption Lead to shape and deliver the firm’s technology learning and AI adoption strategy. You will oversee Copilot and Legal AI training, and design engaging learning across induction, rollouts and role-specific development.

The role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, legal technology and change management, with a collaborative, proactive approach to responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• > at least three years’ experience in technology learning, digital adoption or a related role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
• > practical understanding of generative AI, Microsoft Copilot and the opportunities, limitations and risks associated with using AI in a legal environment
• > strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and an understanding of legal technology, preferably including systems such as Proclaim, iManage, Intapp, BundleDocs, Adobe Pro and DocuSign
• > experience of supporting technology adoption, behavioural change or digital transformation, using insight and feedback to improve engagement
• > excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage colleagues at all levels and explain complex concepts clearly
• > ability to create clear, accessible learning and adoption content, including guides, communications, e-learning, videos, prompt examples and practical use cases
• > ability to analyse adoption data, feedback and learning outcomes and turn findings into practical improvements
• > collaborative, self-motivated and proactive approach with sound judgment and responsible AI use
• > experience of using and administering an LMS system

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the firm’s technology learning and AI adoption strategy.
• Oversee Copilot and Legal AI training delivery.
• Design and deliver engaging technology training across induction, rollouts and role-specific development.
• Develop and implement adoption plans for AI tools and guide colleagues to confident use.
• Identify AI use cases with legal teams and translate into practical learning activities.
• Create high-quality learning materials: guides, e-learning, videos and use-case examples.
• Promote safe, responsible AI use aligned with policy and security requirements.
• Support AI champions and coordinate peer learning and feedback collection.
• Monitor training effectiveness using attendance, usage and feedback data; report progress.
• Keep up-to-date with AI, Microsoft 365 and legal tech developments; communicate implications.
• Coordinate learning for pilots and new technology releases with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure governed adoption activity.
• Identify current and future learning needs and contribute to delivery plans.
• Produce technology tips and engagement sessions to drive continuous learning.
• Maintain Learning Management System records and update as needed.
• Review induction and ongoing learning requirements with the manager
