Job summary

The Knowledge Systems Specialist at Simmons & Simmons in London supports the firm’s AI strategy within the Knowledge department. The role partners with Senior Legal Engineers to drive adoption, track usage, coordinate training and manage day-to-day operational support for AI initiatives.

Ideal candidates are highly organised with at least two years in legal tech, proficient in data analysis (Excel/PowerBI), and capable of coordinating training and communications across practice groups in a

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in legal technology or a similar innovation-focused role within a law firm or legal department.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with Excel and PowerBI.
• Experience coordinating training programmes, events or communications.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive and keen to learn.
• Understanding of legal processes and how lawyers work helpful.

Responsibilities

• Usage tracking and reporting of AI tool adoption across the firm.
• Coordinate internal AI training sessions and update materials.
• Track training completion and follow up with participants.
• Develop and distribute AI-related internal communications.
• Support AI Champions network with scheduling and materials.
• Provide general admin support to the Legal Engineering team.
• Identify opportunities to improve AI adoption processes.
