Job summary

Entrust Resource Solutions is seeking an Agrochemical Analytical Chemist for a permanent role in NW England. The successful candidate will perform analyses on pesticide and crop protection products using LC-MS, GC-MS and related MS systems.

You will develop and validate analytical methods, understand agrochemical formulations, and ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards. Strong experience in agrochemicals and method development is required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in analytical chemistry with agrochemical/crop protection compounds.
• Proven track record in method development and validation.
• Experience with LC-MS, GC-MS and other MS techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate specific methods of analysis for agrochemicals.
• Characterize agrochemical formulations including small molecule and protein-based compounds.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot instruments and maintain analytical systems.
