Job summary

EcoNomad Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Lead to cover field-based sales across the UK, with regular travel to Harpenden HQ. You will engage farmers, perform site surveys, produce layouts and proposals, and manage the full sales lifecycle.

We encourage regional growth and the development of a distributor network. The role blends sales with technical responsibilities, including drawings, site visits, and CRM use.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' relevant Sales experience.
• A self-generated sales track record – from lead generation and first approach, to closing.
• Patience for long, consultative, capital-equipment sales cycles
• Technically minded: drawings, site surveys, proficient in Excel, navigating a CRM
• Strong written English and oral communication skills — you'll be rapport building with farmers as well as writing the proposals
• A full, clean UK driving licence and real experience of covering miles
• Based within a day trip of our Rothamsted HQ in Harpenden, Hertfordshire
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Find farms and network via in-person and online meetings and industry events.
• Provide technical input such as drawings and layout sketches and build proposals.
• Lead generation, farm visits, sketching site layouts, preparing proposals.
• Over time, build and lead a network of regional salespeople and distributors.
