Job summary

Perkins Ltd, Ottery St Mary, is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to support dairy, beef and sheep farmers across West, Mid, and North Devon. You will grow our customer base by providing products and expert advice to help farmers thrive.

We offer a competitive base salary (£34K–£42K) with uncapped commission (OTE £50K), a company van, training and development, and staff discounts. This full-time role (40 hours) may allow flexible hours and occasional out-of-hours events.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and account management in agriculture.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of farm economics, livestock, and agribusiness practices.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with dairy, beef and sheep farmers in your territory.
• Promote and sell our animal health, hygiene and agricultural products.
• Provide expert advice and support, addressing customer concerns and guiding to best solutions.
• Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities in your area.
• Stay informed on industry trends and maintain product knowledge.
• Represent Perkins at meetings, training sessions and events (occasional outside hours).
• Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
