Job summary

Perkins Ltd, a family-owned agricultural supplier based in Ottery St Mary, seeks a Sales Manager to support dairy, beef and sheep farmers across West, Mid and North Devon. You will cultivate relationships, promote a wide range of animal health and mineral products, and provide expert advice to drive sales and customer success.

The role offers a competitive base salary (£34K-£42K) with uncapped commission (OTE £50K), a company van, and opportunities for ongoing training and professional

Qualifications

• Sales and account management experience in farming or agricultural sectors.
• Knowledge of farm economics and product advisory skills.
• Understanding of agricultural supply chains and procurement processes.
• Hands-on farming knowledge and livestock appreciation.
• Experience selling animal health products to farmers.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and grow relationships with dairy, beef and sheep farmers in your territory.
• Promote our range of animal health products, minerals and supplements.
• Provide expert advice and support, guiding customers to best solutions.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities in your area.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on industry trends.
• Represent Perkins at meetings, training sessions and events.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and exceed expectations.
