Job summary

Phoenix Software in the UK is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead complex change initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and within budget. The role focuses on strong stakeholder engagement, coaching cross-functional teams, and promoting agile practices.

The position is hybrid, based at our Pocklington HQ with occasional office attendance. If you excel at delivering value, managing dependencies, and driving continuous improvement in a public-sector–facing

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Delivery Manager, Project Manager or similar role.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Experience delivering complex initiatives in Agile environments.
Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, risks and dependencies.
Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
Experience using delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Track record of delivering outcomes on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Lead the successful delivery of products, projects and change initiatives on time, within scope and budget.
Manage delivery plans, priorities, dependencies, risks and resources across multiple teams.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Agile delivery practices.
Lead, coach and support cross-functional teams to foster high-performing, customer-focused culture.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear communication and updates.
Coordinate release planning and delivery activities for business and tech changes.
Use data and metrics to monitor performance and inform decisions.
Identify and resolve delivery blockers to maintain momentum.
Support resource and capacity planning to balance demand.
Ensure delivery activities comply with governance, standards and policies.
