ACS Automotive are seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager for their Bath operation. You will own the day-to-day running of the aftersales department, lead service and workshop teams, and drive customer service excellence alongside profitability.

The ideal candidate has automotive aftersales management experience, franchised dealer exposure, and strong commercial acumen to grow revenue and performance.

Aftersales Manager
Location: Bath
Salary: Basic £45k, OTE £60k + company car

ACS Automotive are currently working with a well-established automotive business to recruit an experienced Aftersales Manager for their busy Bath operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced service or aftersales professional who is ready to take ownership of a department, develop their team and have a genuine impact on both customer experience and commercial performance.

The Role:

As Aftersales Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the aftersales operation.

You’ll lead from the front, ensuring the department operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service, workshop productivity and financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking overall ownership of aftersales performance and departmental results
• Managing and motivating the service and workshop teams
• Monitoring key performance indicators and putting plans in place to improve results
• Maximising workshop efficiency, productivity and profitability
• Ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service
• Handling and resolving customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Developing team members through coaching, training and regular performance management
• Ensuring departmental processes and manufacturer requirements are followed
• Monitoring local market conditions and identifying opportunities to grow aftersales revenue
• Supporting the continued development and success of the wider dealership

What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for an established automotive aftersales professional with previous management experience.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience managing an automotive service or aftersales departmentwithin a main dealer
• Experience within a franchised dealership environment
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of departmental profitability
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A customer-focused approach with the confidence to resolve difficult situations
• Good knowledge of workshop and service department processes
• An understanding of warranty procedures would be advantageous
• A full UK driving licence

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys being hands-on, understands what makes a successful aftersales operation tick and can get the best from the people around you.
