Job summary
Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy service department in a specialist machinery dealership across agricultural, construction and horticultural sectors in the United Kingdom.
The role requires proven leadership, dealership or manufacturer service experience, and the ability to motivate technicians while delivering exceptional customer service. A real track record in service operations is essential.

- Experience managing or supervising a service/workshop team.
- Background within agricultural, construction, horticultural or plant machinery.
- Dealership or manufacturer experience preferred.
- Knowledge of warranty systems/claims and manufacturer parts books.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate technicians and deliver excellent customer service.

Opportunity to lead an established service team within a specialist machinery dealershipThe Role We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy service department covering agricultural, construction and horticultural machinery.
The ideal candidate will come from a machinery dealership or manufacturer background. Plant machinery experience with a manufacturer would be ideal, alongside agricultural and/or construction knowledge.
This is not a plant-hire or Plant Fitter role. We are looking for someone with genuine dealership/manufacturer service experience, who understands the wider aftermarket environment.
