Job summary

Saint Gobain’s Okarno warehouse is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to lead the afternoon shift, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑performing operations for our customers. You will own shift performance, coach front-line teams, work with Area Supervisors and transport partners to drive safety, service and productivity, and continuously improve across the operation.

The role suits an experienced warehouse or logistics leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including labour planning, workflow management and KPIs.
A strong commitment to health and safety with the ability to identify risks and maintain high standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage afternoon shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, service and productivity targets.
Support Area Supervisors with coaching, direction and accountability.
Plan and optimise shift resources, including labour deployment and workflow priorities.
Monitor performance data and implement improvements to address challenges.
Collaborate with internal teams and transport partners to ensure smooth communication and customer service.
