Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment seeks a Warehouse Shift Supervisor for our Coventry site. The role leads day-shift operations, managing and developing a team of up to 20 staff and agency workers.

You will ensure safety, quality and stock control while driving productivity and performance, reporting on daily results. The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership in FMCG/logistics environments, strong people management, and the ability to plan labour and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in FMCG/logistics/warehousing or similar environment.
• Strong people and performance management experience.
• Experience working in a shift-based operation.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for site operation during your shift.
• Lead and develop a team of up to 20 staff and agency workers.
• Plan labour to meet operational requirements.
• Oversee stock movements, shipping and receiving, and stock control.
• Drive shift performance, productivity and quality.
• Complete shift reports and performance updates.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and environmental standards are maintained.
• Deliver team briefings and conduct safety/quality checks.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and site standards.
