Job summary

The Thrive Hive in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to take charge of the afternoon production shift. You will lead a hands-on team to hit output targets, maintain quality and hygiene standards, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You'll supervise the production team, coordinate tasks, monitor performance against the plan, and ensure efficient changeovers, records, and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or team leader role within production/manufacturing.
• Ability to lead and coach a team to achieve targets and maintain standards.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive attitude.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the production team during your shift.
• Allocate tasks and resources to meet the production plan.
• Run clear shift briefings and handovers between teams.
• Monitor output against targets and address shortfalls promptly.
• Maintain records, perform quality checks and uphold hygiene standards.
