Job summary

St Maxentius CE Primary School in Side of the Moor is seeking a Play Worker to join our Out of School Club. The role supports children aged 4-11 with safe, engaging activities.

You will plan and deliver creative play, provide emotional support, and work with staff to create an inclusive, welcoming environment.

The post is permanent, term-time pro-rata, with early mornings and afternoons, starting ASAP; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children aged 4-11 years old.
• Ability to plan and deliver creative high quality play care and opportunities.
• Provides emotional support and encourages positive behaviour.
• Promotes equality and inclusion for all children.
• Maintains a safe and welcoming environment.
• Good communication with parents, children and staff.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Uses sound judgement, common sense and initiative.
