Job summary

Holt Engineering in Downton seeks an experienced TIG Welder to join its aerospace manufacturing team. You will weld aerospace components from engineering drawings, working with stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel and titanium to exacting standards.

The role offers a permanent contract, a 38-hour week with a 4-day working pattern, overtime at 1.5x when available, and on-site parking plus health cover and life insurance. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous TIG welding experience.
• Experience with feed wire TIG welding.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience welding stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel or titanium.
• Aerospace/precision engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld aerospace components to drawing specifications.
• Feed wire TIG welding.
• Use a turntable for welding where required.
• Weld materials: stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel and titanium.
• Read and work from engineering drawings.
• Work to tight aerospace tolerances.
• Produce consistent, high-quality welds with attention to detail.
