Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Software Engineer - Test & Quality Systems for aerospace applications. You will join a growing engineering team developing software for advanced test, measurement, simulation and control systems used across aerospace and other regulated industries.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will interface with instrumentation, data acquisition hardware, and communications systems, supporting the full project lifecycle from requirements and design through to

Qualifications

Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Software, Computer Science, Electronics or a related discipline.
Experience developing software for engineering, industrial or equipment-based systems.
Strong skills in one or more of: C/C++, C#, Python, LabVIEW, TestStand.
Understanding of software architecture, development lifecycles and source control.
Experience testing and debugging within an engineering environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Develop software for automated test, simulation, measurement and control systems.
Design and integrate solutions with instrumentation, DAQ and communications interfaces.
Support system integration, verification, debugging and fault finding.
Produce high-quality code, documentation and test evidence.
Participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT activities and customer acceptance testing.
Work closely with customers, project teams and engineering disciplines.
