Job summary

Safran is seeking a Test Engineer for our Cwmbran, South Wales site. The role focuses on conducting and documenting cyclic and static tests on aircraft interior products, and supporting both static and automated test rigs using actuators, PLCs, sensors and related equipment.

You will liaise with cross-functional teams (Design, Certification, and Stress) to review test plans, drive technical reporting, and manage test data to support continuous excellence in aerospace testing.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical test setups and fixtures.
• Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics in test rigs.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and document results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document cyclic and static tests on aircraft interior products.
• Support static and automated cyclic test rigs, using actuators, PLCs, sensors and more.
• Review test plans and liaise with Design, Certification and Stress teams; support investigations.
