Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire, seeks a Test and Development Support Technician to provide hands-on support for engineering test rigs, installation and maintenance of equipment, and collaboration with engineers to ensure smooth operation of test systems.

You will gain skills in setup, test execution and equipment fabrication while working with an experienced technician in a busy aerospace testing environment. On-site role with parking and company facilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications such as Wiring Regs, mechanical apprenticeships or NVQs, or electrical/electronics qualifications are essential.
• Experience with plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics is desirable or essential depending on role.
• Experience with test equipment like gauges and meters is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, installation and maintenance to Engineering Test Rigs.
• Set up tests and new equipment for electrical motors and generators used in aerospace applications.
• Work with engineers to keep parts and equipment running to meet customer requirements.
