Job summary

Marshall Group in Cambridge is seeking a Special Processes Fitter to apply surface finishes to aerospace components and assemblies in line with engineering data and NADCAP/OEM requirements. You will work to a schedule to ensure on-time delivery and maintain high quality.

Responsibilities include painting of aerospace parts, reading detailed drawings, following instructions, and maintaining compliance with safety, 5S, and environmental standards; you will support continuous improvement and

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds or equivalent
• Ability to read detailed engineering drawings and specs
• Commitment to high quality standards and compliance
• Experience with NADCAP, Boeing, Lockheed requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

• Paint aerospace parts and sub-assemblies per processes and approvals
• Process jobs to schedule while meeting quality requirements
• Maintain area compliance with 5S, safety and environmental standards
• Ensure on-time delivery of parts within own area
