Job summary

Marshall Aerospace in Cambridge is seeking a Multi-Skilled Special Process Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will be progressively trained across specialist processes and work on aerospace components to demanding customer and regulatory standards.

You’ll develop skills in chemical conversion coating, anodising, passivation, selective plating, aerospace painting and heat treatment of aluminium alloys, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and traceability.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or chemical processing environments.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and written instructions.
• Safety-conscious with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills in processes including chemical conversion coating, anodising, passivation, plating, painting and heat treatment.
• Operate and monitor process tanks, ovens and associated equipment.
• Prepare, mask and clean components; ensure traceability and complete production records.
• Support safe handling of chemicals and materials; identify abnormalities and contribute to continuous improvement.
