Job summary

Marshall of Cambridge Holdings Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Special Process Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Cambridge. You will progressively train across specialist processes, developing expertise in chemical conversion coating, anodising, passivation, plating, painting and heat treatment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing or chemical processing, be safety‑conscious and able to follow detailed procedures while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production or chemical processing environment.
• Able to follow detailed procedures and written instructions.
• Willing to learn new technical skills.
• Reliable, conscientious and safety‑minded.
• Flexible to work across different processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills across specialist processes such as chemical conversion coating, anodising, passivation, plating, painting and heat treatment.
• Operate and monitor process tanks, ovens and related equipment.
• Complete production and traceability records accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols for handling chemicals and process materials.
• Support continuous improvement and housekeeping in the Special Process facility.
• Work across different activities to become a multi‑skilled operator.
