Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems in Wolverhampton (Stafford Road site) is seeking a proactive Shipping Coordinator to join the Logistics Team. You will ensure on-time, in-full shipments and engage with couriers using SAP and customer portals.

The role focuses on preparing shipment packs, coordinating with Production Control, verifying dispatch documents, and maintaining secure records. Weekend work may be required; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP for shipment processing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create daily shipment packs via SAP, courier systems, and portals.
• Liaise with couriers to arrange shipments.
• Learn and manage different shipment types.
• Attend daily shipping meetings with Production Control to meet on-time delivery.
• Verify dispatch documents and quantities against requirements.
• Interface with internal stakeholders to ensure timely dispatch.
• Follow aerospace quality standards and manage dispatch records.
• Ensure site security by checking courier IDs and carriers.
• Support 5S standards, housekeeping and recycling.
• Work weekends as required.
