Shipping Coordinator – 12 Month FTC

Safran Helicopter Engines, a leading manufacturer of rotorcraft turbines, seeks a Shipping Coordinator to support the European Maintenance Centre Hub in Fareham. The role involves managing shipping operations, customs compliance, and coordination with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process shipment requests through SAP and SRF (Shipping Request Process).
• Respond to couriers and create Customs Clearance Instructions on SAP.
• Ensure freight forwarder compliance with Single Administrate Document (C88/SAD) completion.
• Schedule deliveries and collections via courier web‑based systems.
• Compile and maintain haulier manifest schedule.
• Communicate written and verbally with couriers, hauliers, and internal customers regarding shipment ETA and delays.
• Track shipments and update SAP with Airway Bill details.
• Complete Dangerous Goods Declarations when required.
• Support the Shipping Coordinator team and embrace the QRQC system, reporting occurrences and data correctness.
