Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems UK in Wolverhampton is seeking a Project Manager to lead aerospace actuation system programmes across the full product lifecycle. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure delivery meets customer, quality, cost, schedule, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership of cross-functional teams, risk and stakeholder management, and adherence to aerospace regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Must have project management experience in aerospace/defence/high-value manufacturing.
Knowledge of aerospace regulatory frameworks (e.g. AS9100).
Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional programme teams across Engineering, Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
Manage programme scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resource plans to meet milestones and commitments.
Act as primary interface with customers and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues with corrective actions to maintain delivery targets.
Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements and governance standards.
Monitor and report programme performance.
