Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems is seeking a proactive Shipping Coordinator in Wolverhampton to join the Logistics Team on a 6 Month Rolling Contract. You will manage shipments, liaise with couriers, and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries while adhering to aerospace quality standards.

You will use SAP and courier portals to create shipment packs, coordinate with Production Control, and maintain dispatch records. Weekend work may be required as part of alternating double days.

Responsibilities

• Creating daily shipment packs via SAP, courier systems, and customer portals
• Liaising with couriers via email, phone, and portals to arrange shipments
• Learning and managing different shipment types (training provided)
• Attending daily shipping meetings and coordinating with Production Control to meet on-time delivery targets
• Verifying dispatch documents, materials, components, and quantities per procedures
• Interfacing with internal stakeholders to ensure timely dispatch
• Following aerospace quality standards and maintaining dispatch records/logs
• Ensuring site security by checking courier IDs and approved carriers
• Supporting 5S, housekeeping, and recycling processes
• Working weekends as required

Pay Rate: £18.86

Contract: 6 Month Rolling Contract

Shift Pattern (Double Days):
Alternating weekly shifts:

• Week 1 – Earlies: 06:00–13:30 (06:00–13:00 on Fridays)


• Week 2 – Lates: 13:15–21:00 (13:00–19:00 on Fridays)

Morson Group are recruiting on behalf of Safran Actuation Systems for a proactive and detail-driven Shipping Coordinator to join the Logistics Team at the Stafford Road site.

As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll be central to delivering customer satisfaction through quality, on-time, in-full shipments while meeting industry-specific performance targets.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Creating daily shipment packs via SAP, courier systems, and customer portals


• Liaising with couriers via email, telephone, and online portals to arrange shipments


• Learning and managing different shipment types (full training provided)


• Attending daily shipping meetings and working closely with Production Control to meet on-time delivery targets


• Verifying dispatch documents, materials, components, and quantities in line with procedural and quality requirements


• Interfacing with a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure timely dispatch


• Following strict quality standards and procedures for aerospace parts


• Managing dispatch records and logs


• Ensuring site security by checking courier IDs and confirming approved carriers


• Supporting 5S standards, housekeeping, and recycling processes


• Working weekends as required
