Job summary

Mirus Aircraft Seating is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to coordinate the fulfilment of customer orders for aircraft passenger seats, from programme assignment to execution, driving on-time performance while maintaining quality, cost and weight targets.

You will manage programmes across performance, cost, quality and lead-time, collaborate cross-functionally, present updates to the executive team and ensure end-to-end program execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project or programme management experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with project planning software such as MS Project.
• Strong understanding of moving engineered products from design to certified, manufactured and delivered hardware.
• Solid grasp of weight growth drivers and design changes.
• Experience ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with programme planning and scheduling tools.
• Ability to support technical discussions with customer engineering and programme teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and establish the framework for all activities related to fulfilment of assigned customer orders for aircraft passenger seats.
• Manage all aspects of the programme(s), including performance, cost, quality and lead-time aspects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timelines and activities are met efficiently.
• Present regular updates to the executive team via presentations and effective communication channels.
• Ensure the smooth execution of all programs start to finish.
• Track and control programme cost drivers.
