Job summary

Hyde Group, a forward-thinking high-tech engineering specialist in aerospace and fabrication, has a vacancy for a Sales Manager based in Denton, Manchester. You will lead the sales function, identify new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships to drive growth across our CNC machining and fabrication facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and social skills, both verbal and written.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Good product knowledge of large CNC machining and fabrications.
• Previous experience in technical sales, manufacturing and field sales is preferred.
• Previous experience working within technical sales, manufacturing or field sales environments.
• Experience within the aerospace or nuclear industry would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate commercial quotations and proposals alongside the Business Directors and Estimators.
• Generate new business opportunities and revenue streams that align with the business capabilities.
• Manage and develop existing strategic and tactical customer accounts.
• Lead sales and business development activities, including exhibitions and industry events.
• Identify, target and acquire potential new clients through cold calling, networking and industry events.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
