Job summary

Hyde Group in Stockport is seeking a Project Engineer to develop and maintain the relationship with a major OEM, ensuring delivery milestones are met by coordinating with the customer and production teams.

You will use engineering experience to resolve engineering and quality issues, identify risks and opportunities, and maintain a strong customer focus with commercial awareness and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings/Bill of Materials.
• Experience of working in a project/customer facing role in a manufacturing/engineering setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to carry out contract review activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the relationship between Hyde Group and one of our major OEMs, ensuring deliverables and milestones are achieved by liaising with the customer and production team.
• Assist in identifying risks and opportunities and resolve engineering and quality issues for customers.
