Job summary

Hyde Group Ltd. is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the sales function across our Denton facilities in Manchester.

You will identify and secure new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth while collaborating with Directors and Estimators to prepare quotations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate commercial quotations and proposals with the Business Directors and Estimators.
• Generate new business opportunities and revenue aligned with capabilities.
• Manage and develop existing key customer accounts.
• Lead sales and business development activities, including exhibitions and industry events.
• Identify, target and acquire potential new clients via cold calling and networking.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Hyde Group are established Industry experts within Aerospace Engineering and have a new vacancy for a Sales Manager working across our leading large CNC machining and Fabrication facilities based in Denton, Manchester.

As a Sales Manager, you will lead the sales function, identify and secure new business opportunities, and develop customer relationships to support growth across the organisation.

Main Duties

• Prepare and coordinate commercial quotations and proposals alongside the Business Directors and Estimators.
• Generate new business opportunities and revenue streams that align with the business capabilities.
• Manage and develop existing strategic and tactical customer accounts.
• Lead sales and business development activities, including exhibitions and industry events.
• Identify, target and acquire potential new clients through cold calling, networking and industry events.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Skills

• Strong communication and social skills, both verbal and written.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Good product knowledge of large CNC machining and fabrications.

Desired Skills

• Previous experience in technical sales, manufacturing and field sales is preferred.

Desired Experience

• Previous experience working within technical sales, manufacturing or field sales environments.
• Experience within the aerospace or nuclear industry would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
