Job summary

Hyde Group, a forward-thinking aerospace engineering specialist, invites applications for a Project Engineer role at our Denton site (M34). You will support a Key Account, handle contract reviews, RFQs, and progress reporting while driving continuous improvements and ensuring 100% delivery adherence.

Applicants should have an engineering background, strong IT and procurement skills, and a full UK driving licence. SAP experience is a plus and full training may be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support management of one Key Account and coordinate with the Key Project Management team.
• Conduct contract reviews, respond to RFQs, and provide progress reports.
• Drive continuous improvement activities and ensure delivery schedule adherence.
• Grow the account in line with business strategy and manage the order book.
• Provide customer-focused communication and collaborate cross-functionally.

This exciting role would involve you supporting with the management of one of our Key Accounts. You will be responsible for carrying contract reviews with this customer, responding to Request for Quotations and providing progress reports. Youll use your expertise to drive continuous improvement activity and ensure that we achieve 100% delivery schedule adherence.

Naturally, you will work in partnership with the Key Project Management team to grow the account in line with our business strategy and manage the order book. Youll be a customer focused individual with strong communication skills.

Essential Skills

• Strong IT skills (Microsoft word and excel).
• Have a good understanding of purchasing and procurement.
• Full UK Driving license.
• Engineering/Manufacturing background or hold a degree in an engineering discipline.

Desirable skills

• It would be great if you had SAP experience but we will provide you with full training.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• An understanding of Engineering Processes, precision machining and surface treatment disciplines.
• Formal Project Management Qualification would be advantageous; however, we would look to book you onto a course if you dont already hold this.
