Job summary

RC Fornax in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Work Package Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across the engineering lifecycle. You will own and structure WBS and coordinate planning, scheduling, and delivery of activities from design through validation.

Applicants must have experience in aerospace/defence or complex systems, a track record of delivering cost, schedule and performance, and eligibility for Active SC Clearance as a British national.

Qualifications

• Experience as Engineering Work Package Manager or Project Engineering Lead/Manager.
• Background in aerospace, defence, or complex engineering systems.
• Ownership of engineering delivery (cost, schedule, performance).
• Experience with WBS, planning, and structured delivery frameworks.
• Understanding of full engineering lifecycle and system integration.
• Eligible for Active SC Clearance; sole British national.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Own and structure engineering work packages (WBS).
• Plan, schedule, and deliver engineering activities across the lifecycle.
• Drive delivery across design, development, integration, and validation.
• Manage stakeholders, suppliers, and internal engineering functions.
• Implement and track KPIs to measure engineering performance.
