Ultra in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage concurrent projects within the defence/aerospace sector. You will drive system engineering lifecycle activities, lead multi-discipline teams and ensure delivery to scope, cost and schedule.

Responsibilities include governance, risk management, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement with customers and suppliers. A strong background in ISO processes and security clearances is essential, with willingness to travel

Formación

• Full knowledge of the Systems Engineering lifecycle and models.
• Proven engineering management and mentoring skills.
• Experience of strategy, planning and design of complex solutions.
• Ability to quantify Basis of Estimate costs for pursuits and change opportunities.
• Experience with engineering lifecycle tools, configuration management and metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own, lead and assure the execution of agreed scope of engineering for delivery of projects of various sizes.
• Lead and coordinate multi-discipline engineering tasking and dependencies.
• Support program planning and scheduling, proposing optimisations to schedule logic.
• Monitor resources, recruitment and upskilling to meet budgets and timelines.
• Ensure artefacts are delivered to governance, budgets and schedules.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and manage change across the project.
• Coordinate engineering resources and provide input for business reporting.
• Travel within the UK to customer and supplier sites as required.
