Job summary

Eaton MSD Cheltenham is seeking a Production Technician to assemble new build products and repair customer units in accordance with drawings and manufacturing instructions.

You will diagnose faults, generate comprehensive strip reports for returns, complete final ATPs, identify issues and drive continuous improvement while following company procedures.

The role requires collaboration with quality, engineering and other teams and may involve training to stay aligned with the company mission.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience within an aerospace/defence environment and/or a formal engineering qualification (NVQ/C&G/ONC etc.).
• Minimum of 6 months broad based cell experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new build products and repair customer products per drawings/manufacturing instructions.
• Fault diagnose units that fail ATP and provide a strip report for returns.
• Carry out final ATP of customer units.
• Identify problems and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Act as the cell link to quality, engineering and other areas of the business.
• Review job progress for continuous improvement and adhere to Company Procedures.
• Attend training for company and self-development.
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested.
