Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Associate Technician at its Cheltenham site to assemble new build products, repair customer units, and conduct routine testing in line with drawings and manufacturing instructions.

The role involves fault diagnosis of units that fail ATP, creating detailed strip reports, and performing final ATP on customer units as required. You will work with quality, engineering and other teams to identify improvements and support training and development.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ aerospace/defence experience or a formal engineering qualification.
• Minimum 6 months broad based cell experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new build products and repair customer products per drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Diagnose faults on units that fail ATP and provide a comprehensive strip report.
• Carry out final ATP of customer units when required.
• Identify problems and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering and other areas as needed.
• Review progress to drive continuous improvement and align with company mission.
• Attend training courses for personal development.
• Adhere to Company Procedures.
• Carry out other duties as reasonably requested.
