Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Bristol seeks a Manufacturing Engineer – Product Introduction to develop and introduce manufacturing processes for defence programmes. You will interact with design teams, suppliers and customers to ensure manufacturability and optimize production readiness.

The role emphasises Design for Manufacture, advanced product planning and collaboration across UK sites, with security clearance support where needed.

Qualifications

• Professionally Qualified Engineer with UK minimum HND/Foundation degree or equivalent.
• Recognised national or international accreditation (IEng/CEng) where available.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing processes and DFMP/Advanced Product Quality Planning.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, implement, validate, maintain and improve manufacturing processes and methods of manufacture to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Ensure processes comply with Health, Safety & Environmental standards and Zero Harm.
• Influence design and manufacturing requirements through trials with internal/external stakeholders.
