Collide Technical is seeking a Mechanical Inspector for a precision engineering client in Ferndown, Dorset. In a high-spec, aerospace-focused environment, you will inspect precision-engineered components to drawings, perform first-off, in-process and final checks, and maintain documentation.

You will work with manual inspection tools, gain CMM training, and enjoy flexible hours, autonomy, and clear progression within the expanding business.

Formación

• Experience as a Mechanical Inspector in precision engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using manual inspection equipment.
• CMM experience desirable; training provided.
• Background in aerospace or regulated industries beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect machined components to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspection.
• Use inspection equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges).
• Complete inspection documentation and quality reports.
• Support quality investigations and non-conformance processes.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage workload with a high level of autonomy.
