Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/quality inspection roles within engineering or aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of FAIRs and non-conformance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out dimensional and visual inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
• Completing first-off, FAIR, final and goods-in/goods-out inspections.
• Ensuring components meet engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Raising non-conformance reports (NCRs) and containing defective products.
• Completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Preparing and approving certificates of conformity.
• Supporting root cause and corrective action meetings.
