Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Inspector in Poole to inspect precision components for aerospace and marine manufacturing. You will sign off parts at all stages, from first off to final certificates, ensuring conformance with procedures.

The role emphasizes strict quality control, adherence to FAIR/NCR processes, and familiarity with Net-Inspect and DSQR. A strong eye for detail and a track record of process discipline is essential.

Formación

• Previous inspection experience within an aerospace precision engineering workshop.
• Strong knowledge of FAIR and NCR processes.
• Experience working to NADCAP or AS9100 quality standards (desirable).
• Familiarity with customer quality systems such as Net-Inspect (desirable).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all inspection work.
• A track record of maintaining exceptionally high standards of process control.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out dimensional and visual inspection of precision components at every planned stage, including first off, FAIR, final, pre-treatment and goods in/out
• Completing FAIRs and compiling and approving certificates of conformity in line with procedure
• Raising, labelling and containing NCRs for non-conforming product, and communicating issues promptly to quality engineers and production
• Working to customer quality processes and software such as Net-Inspect, and meeting customer approved inspection requirements such as DSQR
• Raising purchase orders with subcontract suppliers, including surface treatment providers
• Contributing to RCCA and 8D root cause meetings as required
