Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform high-precision assembly and inspection within a cleanroom environment. The role focuses on microelectronic and electro-mechanical products, requiring meticulous workmanship and adherence to quality standards.

You will assemble delicate components, conduct detailed inspections, and support continuous improvement while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or engineering environments.
• Ability to assemble tiny, high-precision components and read drawings.
• Experience with hand tools, microscopes and precision equipment.
• Awareness of IPC soldering standards and cleanroom practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical, electronic and microelectronic products per drawings and specs.
• Perform micro-scale assembly using hand tools, tweezers and microscopes.
• Carry out soldering and wiring per IPC and company standards.
• Inspect components, document data and raise any non-conformances.
• Support production targets, maintenance and continuous improvement.
