Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking a Test Technician at the Luton site to ensure quality, performance and reliability of aerospace products through rigorous testing and fault diagnosis. You will work with specialised test equipment to verify performance and support the delivery of high‑quality products to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing, fault diagnosis, or manufacturing support within an engineering environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators and ATE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, environmental, and acceptance testing of assemblies and systems.
• Follow specifications and quality standards during test procedures.
• Configure and operate manual and automated test equipment.
• Verify product performance against technical requirements.
• Record, analyse, and interpret test results for conformity.
• Support first-off, in-process and final acceptance tests.
• Investigate faults and determine root causes.
• Document corrective actions and investigation outcomes.
• Support production schedules and maintain test throughput.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
