Job summary

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for aerospace and defence, seeks a Mechanical Engineer for our Bishops Cleeve site. You will support design, sustainment and obsolescence management in a highly regulated context, collaborating across functions to maintain product integrity and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering, strong GD&T knowledge, and experience with CAD/PLM tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in design, manufacturing or product support engineering.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis and calculations.
• Experience implementing engineering changes in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across a diverse aerospace product portfolio.
• Support redesigns, root cause investigations and obsolescence challenges.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and customers.
