Job summary

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for aerospace and defence, is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team at Bishops Cleeve. You’ll provide technical support across a diverse portfolio, review drawings, apply GD&T, and collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations and Quality to keep products reliable, compliant and in service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience in design/manufacturing/product support environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with CAD and PLM; SolidWorks/Windchill advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across a diverse portfolio of aerospace products.
• Review technical data, implement changes and investigate issues.
• Support redesign activities and evaluate new materials/manufacturing solutions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations and Quality to maintain design integrity.
