Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team where you'll support us in ensuring the ongoing integrity, performance and compliance of our products across their full lifecycle.
This role will be based at our Bishops Cleeve site.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll join a collaborative engineering team where you'll work on technically challenging products, solve complex engineering problems, and make a real impact in keeping critical aerospace products available, supported and fit for purpose for the long-term.

The Role As a Mechanical Engineer at Ontic, you'll provide technical support across a diverse portfolio of aerospace products, from supporting the introduction of new products into the Ontic portfolio through to in-service support and eventual retirement.
Working within a highly regulated environment, you'll help ensure our products continue to meet demanding performance, quality and regulatory requirements.
You'll work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and our customers to maintain design integrity, providing validated engineering solutions to overcome supply chain challenges or support product improvements.
Whether reviewing technical data, implementing engineering changes, investigating technical issues or resolving obsolescence challenges, you'll play a vital role in keeping our products reliable and compliant as part of Ontic's promise to deliver a lifetime of flight.
