Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Reach Mechanical Design Engineer for Yeovil, Somerset. You will work on aerospace components, reviewing drawings for REACH compliance and developing mechanical assemblies using Siemens NX.

Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens NX CAD software.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modelling for aerospace components.
• Knowledge of REACH regulations and aerospace engineering standards.

Responsabilités

• Review existing engineering drawings for REACH material and process obsolescence.
• Produce Investigation Reports to justify engineering drawing changes.
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies per customer specs and aerospace standards.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using Siemens NX.
• Produce detailed design layouts, manufacturing drawings and assembly documentation.
• Perform tolerance analyses to meet functional and manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare and check complete drawing packs and engineering documentation.
