Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace Yeovil site is seeking a mechanical design engineer to create 2D drawings and 3D models and drive engineering changes in the PLM system. You will contribute to design for manufacture, support phase 6 engineering changes, and liaise with production planning to optimise the detail package for production.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least two years' experience, and familiarity with 3D CAD (Siemens NX).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required or equivalent with suitable experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering.
• Experience with 3D CAD and 2D drawings; design for manufacture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Process engineering changes through the PLM system.
• Support Phase 6 IR/ECN activities and liaise with production planning to optimise the detail package.
