Job summary

Airbus is offering a placement at the Filton Plant Manufacturing Engineering team, giving exposure across wing and sub-assembly processes and opportunities to work on A400M, A350 Metallic, and other R&T initiatives. Open to undergraduates for the entire placement, with strict attention to UK security clearances.

CV and cover letter required, with motivation and suitability clear. Successful candidates will work in a diverse, inclusive team, with potential to join Airbus as future employees.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Engineering, a Technical field, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Ability to propose creative solutions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across the wing and sub-assembly processes and the current manufacturing steps.
• Contribute to future solution development and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Finance and other functions to deliver projects.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions with the customer in mind.
