Job summary

Rolls-Royce Bristol is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Digital Systems to lead digital manufacturing initiatives in a hybrid, full-time role. The position focuses on creating, developing and deploying digital processes across the product lifecycle to push aerospace manufacturing capabilities forward.

You will collaborate across functions, work with IT on roadmaps, and help shape future manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

Digital manufacturing systems experience in aerospace or regulated industries.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 principles and digital transformation methods.
Strong problem-solving skills with drive to innovate within regulatory constraints.
Knowledge of digital manufacturing systems, mapping and automation.
Understanding IIoT and data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop opportunities for new or improved digital manufacturing processes, systems and technologies.
Fix, improve and transform current and future digital capability.
Deploy, developing and implementing Digital Manufacturing processes and technologies across lifecycle.
Collaborate cross functionally with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver digital excellence.
Work with IT to develop framework and process roadmaps/architecture to inform and deliver manufacturing capability.
