Job summary

ALTEN is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to support the SAR Flowline programme in a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. You will help production operations, resolve manufacturing challenges and improve flowline performance to meet stringent aerospace quality and certification requirements.

You will work closely with Operations, Design, Quality and Supply Chain teams to support critical aerospace products, driving continuous improvement and ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting aerospace components, assemblies or production systems.
• Understanding of aerospace quality requirements and manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support to SAR Flowline production area.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing and production issues.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, routes and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Support concession, non-conformance and root cause investigations.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure processes comply with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
• Support New Product Introduction and industrialisation activities.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain teams.
